Welcome to Green Flower’s Dispensary Associate Certificate program.
The Dispensary Associate Certificate is a professional credential program developed by Green Flower and GF Institute in conjunction with business leaders from across the cannabis industry.
Comprising two units, the program is designed to function as a general, turnkey solution for rapidly upskilling and preparing cannabis professionals for entry and acclimation to their new dispensary & retail careers.
There are a total of 26 modules to complete in this course, including a 30-question multiple choice exam for unit 1 and a 50-question multiple choice final exam for unit 2.
Module content includes 13 related video segments as well as an interactive e-learning module.
Interactive learning content is centered on developing a learner’s understanding of health & safety considerations in licensed cannabis operations, and specifically covers health & safety programs, risk assessments, safety procedures & training tips, the role of a health & safety manager, personal protective equipment, safety signage, accident & emergency procedures, and first aid.
The interactive module module content concludes with a quiz or knowledge check and module summary.
Module content includes 2 related video segments as well as an interactive e-learning module.
Interactive learning content is centered on developing a learner’s understanding of worker best practices in licensed cannabis operations, and specifically covers worker cleanliness, hand sanitation, wounds & infections, protective clothing, prohibited items, eating & drinking, smoking & tobacco products, control of drug use, violence & weapons, and GMP signage.

Interactive learning content is centered on establishing and maintaining product quality standards, and specifically covers quality management systems, hazard control plans, production hazard analysis, production flow charts, product classification & control, product specifications, product rejection processes, quarantined products & materials, environmental controls, pre-operation inspections, cross-contamination prevention, cleanability of facilities and premises, equipment management, equipment design, equipment calibration, and cannabis inventory.

The Dispensary Associate Certificate Unit 1 exam includes 30 multiple choice questions drawn directly from lesson content. To pass, learners must complete the exam with a score of 70 or above.
Learners are given two opportunities to pass the final exam before the assessment becomes locked.
